About Violet Hilton
Violet Hilton has dreamed of publication since she started writing stories in elementary school. One ribbon-winning tale about a manatee on a quest to save his mother was all it took to cement this life long goal. Since then she's been writing and honing her skills, never content to remain an aspiring writer.
Now she weaves tales of romance, urban fantasy and horror as she moves ever onward towards becoming a published author. Violet has used the annual writing event National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) to fuel her passion for writing since 2004 and has learned a lot about the writing process inside and outside the zany month of November. Her favorite things to write about are pirates, djinn, zombies and werewolves. Preferably in love. But not necessarily with one another.
